In order to attract our audience, we used the same methods that a professional distribution company would create:
A film website
A Facebook page
An Instagram page
An Instagram page
A Twitter feed.
Facebook: Callum Drewett was responsible for this.
Twitter: I was responsible for this. I made an account with the name of the film, and I added details and some screenshots of the film to attract followers. People normally use twitter to get their point of view across to people who enjoy the same activities. This gets people talking and if people like your point of view or your idea, they can like or retweet your tweet so that it gets spread around Twitter. We used this to our advantage so that if we get more people to retweet our screenshots to make people more aware of our film.
Instagram: Oli was responsible for this. Instagram is a widely used social media app where people can post pictures of their work or themselves and they can add a caption, sometimes with a hashtag to join similar posts and pictures together. If people like what we posted they could follow us and will get all of our pictures on their homepage.
You show understanding of how to attract and address your audience. You know the importance of social media in communicating with your target audience and should add in the images of the social platforms that you speak of having made for your group production.
